Flight tracking
Adding a flight
Open a trip, add a flight, and enter the flight number and date. Kestreli looks it up and fills in the airports and times for you.
What the status means
- Scheduled — the flight is further out than the tracking window, so there's no live information yet. This is normal, and nothing is wrong.
- Closer to departure, the status becomes live and Kestreli begins checking for changes to the gate, terminal and times.
Following a flight as it happens
Tap Track live on a flight card and Kestreli puts a Live Activity on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, updating as the flight's details change and finishing shortly after arrival.
Kestreli Pro
Live flight tracking is part of Kestreli Pro. You can still record flights on a trip without it.
If the status looks wrong
Flight data comes from a third party and can lag the airline's own app, particularly for schedule changes made at short notice. Always treat the airline as the authority for your gate and departure time.
